 Tamamo Castle
The ruins of the castle of the past local lords, which is ranked as one of Japan's three great moated castles. The place has been landscaped as Tamamo Park and visitors can enjoy the tower and bridge that tells the story of past glory and the seasonal flowering trees and shrubs.

 Megijima Island
Megi Island, which is also fondly known as Onigashima, is the island of the legend of Momotaro. It has Onino Yakata Museum, which houses a collection of artifacts associated with demons from around the country, Onino Dokutsu Cave and Onino Todai Lighthouse.

 Ritsurin Park
An extensive Daimyo garden where every step you take is said to provide you with beautiful scenery set against the backdrop of Mt. Shiun. It is a famous garden which the past local lords spent 100 years to create. It is designated as Japan's special place of interest.

 Yashima
Known as the old battle field of the Genji-Heike battle; it is dotted with historic sites. A breathtaking view of Seto can be commanded from the top of the mountain and it also has many places to see such as the Shikoku Reijyo Fudasho Temple, Yashima Temple and aquarium.

 Takamatsu City Museum of Art
Museum located in the center part of the downtown. It is popular with special exhibitions and such innovative projects as Museum Live. Visitors can enjoy local creations at the Citizen's Gallery.

 Kagawa History Museum
It introduces the history and culture of Kagawa in unique categorized exhibits in its Reference Room of the History of Matsudaira Family, Water and Living Room and Kukai Room. Its special exhibitions that focus on the people and treasures of Kagawa are also appealing.
